Renji Hospital
Renji Hospital, established in 1844, is the first Western medicine hospital in Shanghai after its opening. Currently, the hospital comprises four campuses located in the east, west, south, and north, as well as the Shanghai Cancer Institute. It is a comprehensive tertiary Grade A hospital with a complete range of disciplines, integrating medical treatment, teaching, and scientific research. The hospital has been awarded the title of National Civilized Unit for four consecutive years and has received Grade A in the annual performance assessment of hospital presidents from the Shanghai Shenkang Hospital Development Center for 18 consecutive years.
Since its establishment, the hospital has had 2 CAE Members. As of the end of 2024, the hospital had a total of 4,832 full-time employees, including 754 experts with senior and associate senior professional titles; 195 doctoral supervisors and 201 master's supervisors.
